Junior Accountant

Atiya Shaikh was born and brought up in Mumbai, India. After finishing primary school, she went on to complete her higher secondary schooling at Sophia College of Women, where she majored in Accounts and Bookkeeping. She was conferred the prestigious Mr. Maurice George Martiz Prize for 2nd highest scorer in Accounts, after which she graduated with a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance degree.

During the tenure of her studies, she worked for a Chartered Accounting firm as an Accounting Associate. After a remarkable performance, she was adjudged with an A grade for the bi-annual work performance. She was later promoted and designated as the Assistant Manager for Financial Accounting. 

Atiya moved to Canada in March 2022 to pursue a postgraduate diploma in Financial Planning at Seneca College. Shortly after graduating, she joined JC Professional as an Accounting Clerk. During her time at the firm, she will develop her skills and knowledge in accounting and taxation. 

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, exploring new places, and reading novels.
